UA Presents BEHIND THE SCENES programs 

Arizona State Standards

This performance relates to state standards in music and dance, including:

Dance Strand 2-RELATE: Students understand how the human experience influences and is influenced by dance, and apply dance to understand ideas across disciplines.
Dance Strand 3-EVALUATE: Students describe, analyze, evaluate and interpret personal and universal concepts, and the merits of their work and the work of others.
Music Strand 2-RELATE: Understand the relationships among music, the arts, and other disciplines outside the arts.
Music Strand 3-EVALUATE: Listen to, analyze, and describe music.

This exciting arts education program for elementary, middle and high school students provides an up-close and unique interaction with world-class touring artists. Students are provided with the opportunity to learn first-hand how world-class artists made it to the top, what life is really like on the road or how the production team creates “magic” on stage.  

Sign up for this day-long package including a workshop with a standout professional artist, lunch/dinner, a behind the scenes look at the show’s production and admission to the show. Seating is limited.
