The Information We Collect and How We Use It
We gather two types of information from visitors to our website: anonymous usage information, and the personal information provided by those who purchase tickets, make a donation or opt to receive email news and special offers.
Information we collect is used to inform patrons of upcoming events and changes in programs, and to ask for support for our organization. We sometimes trade post office mailing lists with other Tucson organizations. We never sell or trade phone numbers or email addresses.
When you browse our website, we collect no personally identifiable information about your visit. We do, however, collect anonymous information that helps us gather statistics and track trends regarding website usage. This anonymous information may include:
- Internet address
- Web pages requested
- Referring web page
- Browser and plug-ins used
- Date, time and duration of activity
We also monitor traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop and improve the design and layout of the site. Information is collected for analysis and statistical purposes and is used to diagnose problems.
We collect personal information when patrons purchase tickets, make contributions or join our mailing list. This information is used to complete your order or process your contribution. Your ticket buying and contribution history is also used by UA Presents in future marketing efforts and solicitations.
Personal information submitted to us is available to UA Presents employees1) our employees who manage this information for the purpose of contacting you or sending you materials based on your request for information and 2) contracted third party organizations for the sole purpose of processing and sending information on our behalf.
We may collect information volunteered by you such as survey information.
